Adult Sunday School

Learning how to apply biblical teachings to our daily living is one of the most important aspects of Christian Education.  On Sunday Mornings at Rome First UMC, we have a number of adult Sunday school classes for you to consider.  Some classes study the scriptures and then discuss how it relates to everyday life.  Other classes prefer topical and Christian-themed book studies and discuss these.  All the classes enjoy great fellowship and share the joys and challenges of life.

All classes meet from 10:00am to 10:45am each Sunday.

Adult Fellowship Class                                  Education Building - Room A-203

The Adult Fellowship is a large group of adults who study the International Lesson Series. The lessons have a lecture format and are taught by a roster of excellent teachers who rotate assignments so there is a different teacher for each Sunday of the month. Singing and fellowship are also part of the Sunday program. This class has parties for fellowship and entertainment and also supports local community missions like Community Kitchen, the Free Clinic, and Rome Action Ministries.  Everyone welcome!

We schedule several social events and service projects throughout the year.

Our classes are led by class members, are informal and encourage member involvement and discussion. Social functions and service activities are an important part of Genesis Class fellowship. We welcome you and your friends to join us any and every Sunday. We hope to see you soon.
