Boy Scout troop 113 has a long and proud history of producing leaders in the community with character and commitment.  In the past 15-20 years, the troop has produced more than 200 Eagle Scouts.

Each scout is committed to do community service hours in order to advance through the program.  Each Eagle candidate must plan and execute a service project that works to improve or assist the local community or an organization.

The Boy Scouts program is for boys ages 11-18 and the troop presently has more than 90 active scouts.  The troop meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm during the school year in the Wilder Center.  May of the scouts and scout leaders are members of Rome First UMC.

Andy Davis is the current scoutmaster and Thad Watters is assistant scoutmaster.  For more information, contact Andy at adavis@brinson-askew.com or Thad at effieW1@aol.com.
