Why offer this sermon series? So many people I talk/counsel with are having trouble with love,
marriage or sex. Yet these are three subjects churches often avoid or ignore.

This series is offered in response to numerous requests from those who need some help in their own
marriages or are concerned for friends or family in their marriages.
They are asking the church to help with their hurts and hopes.

You may be concerned that the sermons will be too mature for children's ears. There is nothing
in the material that would not be rated G or at the most PG if made into a movie. However, the
content is geared to adults and teens. For kids age 5-4th grade there is the KOINONIA Chapel at
11 a.m. For the duration of the series, the KOINONIA Chapel will also include 5th and 6th graders
whose parents prefer this option.

Some may wonder how this series could be meaningful for those among us who
are not married. As members of this faith family, and as citizens in the community, we
have an interest and an investment in healthy marriages, families, and relationships. As
those who have taken baptismal vows with the children of our church, we have promised to
help guide them in making good choices about their behaviors, relationships, and spiritual
values. The more we know, the more we can give witness to God's ways through our lives.

for the hearers, for friends and family we love and support.
