Cathy Aiken-Freeman

Cathy Aiken-Freeman has been a member of Rome First UMC since 2004. 

In 1994 she graduated from Candler School of Theology with a Masters of Divinity. 

In 2014 she was certified in Community Development by Colorado State University.

Cathy’s past employment in Rome includes the Bagwell Food Pantry, the Davies Shelters, and United Way of Rome and Floyd County. She serves on the boards of PFLAG and the Davies Shelters. 

Her goal is to help the congregation team-up with organizations working for the good of our community, to live out John Wesley’s ‘Do all the good you can.’

When not working, Cathy’s interests include Star Trek, chickens, coffee, and the beach. She loves roller coasters and has been to Disney World more times than she is comfortable admitting.
