Rev. Daniel Kasbohm

Associate Pastor

Pastor Daniel grew up in Roswell, GA and was active in youth ministry at Northbrook UMC.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree at Vanderbilt University, and worked as a healthcare consultant for 10 years, at Huron Consulting Group and McKinsey and Company. He received his MBA from Mercer University in 2017.

Pastor Daniel discerned a call to ministry, and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 2023. From 2020 to 2026, Daniel worked as Executive Director of Finance and Operations at Decatur First UMC.  Daniel is passionate about improving church operations and governance, and ordering the life of the church. 

At Rome First, Pastor Daniel supports the church’s youth ministry, pastoral care, church leadership and governance, adult discipleship opportunities, and mission in the community.

Daniel lives with his husband Michael, and their 4 year old goldendoodle, Sadie.  They love to travel, explore local parks, and participate in conventions celebrating science fiction and the arts.
